A copper worktop and sawn, woven timbers of the kitchen cabinets, earthy colours and sheepskin textiles all compliment the natural surroundings outside. You'll feel part of the landscape without leaving your Log Cabin. Cwtch is a Welsh word. It is the act of creating a small space between you and another, It is like a hug... but much much better! To 'cwtch-up' is to snuggle up with someone, particularly lovely on a cold welsh winters night. What better place to do this than in a log cabin in the Welsh countryside.

Cwtch log cabin has stunning glass fronted apex windows making the landscape of the beautiful Berwyn Mountains part of everyday living. Created for two people to enjoy, the open plan living space means you can cook, relax and sleep with the most amazing views at all times.

The cabin features a rustic yet modern kitchen from designers Devol, a relaxed stylish sofa, wood burning fire to keep you cosy on those long cold nights and an award winning king size bed to help you get ready for another great day.

We have been to Wales a few times and were looking forward to staying somewhere new and Rivercatcher did not disappoint! We were treated to beautiful views in an idyllic setting which was lovely and quiet. The log cabin was lovely and clean and had everything you needed. The welcome basket was a lovely touch with lots of delicious local food and drink. We stayed for a week and visited lots of places in the local area. All the relevant info on things to do and places to visit was in the manual in our accommodation. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The Lodge - Games & Relaxation

The Lodge is our versatile games room available to all guests at any time of the day or evening.

Great as a break-out space for children and adults alike it contains table tennis, table football, sofas and a TV. For smaller guests we have a great wooden train set and if you're interested in the area, lots of leaflets and information on things to do.
