Gamekeepers Cottage

Gamekeepers Cottage has a stunning riverside location. With an extensive private south facing garden there is plenty of space for 8 people to relax and enjoy. All four bedrooms have their own bathroom or en-suite with the first floor bedroom having its own roll top bath in the room with views of the river. The living space is large and bright and steps straight out onto the outside patio area with access to its own private hot tub. Gamekeepers Cottage has 2 fixed double beds with an option to turn the other 2 doubles into twins.

We chose Gamekeepers Cottage for our 3 generation family holiday. The majority of the cottage is on the ground floor with level access at the front - perfect for those with mobility difficulties. All the bedrooms had their own en-suite or bathroom and all the essentials were included, with the addition of luxury extras such as the bluetooth speaker, wine fridge and Netflix TV service. The hot tub was a big hit with everyone and the garden furniture meant family time outside was comfortable for all generations. The owner Andy was often on hand to answer queries and Aled was so friendly when popping by to check the hot tub or mow the grass. We were very impressed by Rivercatcher and have already recommended this holiday to friends.

The Lodge - Games & Relaxation

The Lodge is our versatile games room available to all guests at any time of the day or evening.

Great as a break-out space for children and adults alike it contains table tennis, table football, sofas and a TV. For smaller guests we have a great wooden train set and if you're interested in the area, lots of leaflets and information on things to do.
